Those with strong educational backgrounds, customer service experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills make the best spotters. Companies rely heavily on our reports to make very important management decisions. Therefore, we are very selective about those we hire as an independent contractor to represent us.

Professionalism, reliability, timeliness, confidentiality, and accuracy of reports are essential. They are required to follow instructions to the letter, and to produce quality work in a timely manner. A mystery shopper who does not reliably complete assignments has little value to Eye Spy and will be eliminated from our spotter pool. Microsoft Word, Excel, and E-mail capabilities are also required.

A good spotter has a chameleon like quality to them and can blend in with the crowd, as well as, always remaining anonymous. They should be able to visit the same location numerous times without being detected by the staff. Spotters do not take forms on the premises with them, nor do they take notes when they are visible to the staff during their spots.
